Basic math skills is basicly it this is a game of chance for some people but to others it’s a game of logic vs. The dealer. You can simply count the cards to improve your odds of winning and all you need is some practice and atleast the ability to put 1 and 1 together and do the basic equations:
1+1=2
-1+1=0
-1+-1=-2

Thank you LesPaul for stating fact. Tomgun, the reason why most people end up losing is twofold: 1) the game is about 1/2% in favor of the house against a perfect player and 2) the casino’s bankroll is HUGE, so a few short term losses do not matter, vs. a loss of $1000 for a table player may be devastating. And Macdizz, you couldn’t be more wrong. Not hitting your 12 vs a dealer nine is suicide. I’m not talking from my own observation but millions of simulated blackjack hands prove it.

this isnt really very good advice. at the end when he says you should hit on 12 vs a dealer 9? in that situation your pretty much fucked either way. its best to hope for dealer bust because really the only card that would help you is an 8 or a 9. if you get a picture you go bust and if you take a card and its not an 8 or 9 youre TAKING the dealer bust card. if the dealer takes a picture you were fucked anyway but if dealer takes a 7 or less you have just saved your ass

You always split 8s. Period. Blackjack isn’t a game of psychology. It’s straight mathematics. Fail to follow that, and you will lose in the long run. It really is that simple. Listening to bad players and their subjective analysis is a recipe for disaster in this game. The MIT team used basic strategy and card counting to win millions. People who have selective memories and use their gut insticts lose millions. It isn’t rocket science. But it is fact.

This video is lame just like the rest of the retards who teach to always split 8′s cause some moron took statistics and told people the odds. Yeah I’ve seen people try year after year and they always bitch about how the dealer is hot or that table no one is winning. Gee I can’t imagine why that could be?? Maybe cause everyone hits 16′s like an idiot and split there 8′s against the dealers 9 or 10.

Thats almost how I play, but I start with 3,000 all in 100.00 chips. Using perfect basic strategy, I can usually come out ahead by about 1,000

once you have learned how to play well,try this betting system. Keep it simple. I start with 10 $100.00 chips and I play till I’m 1 chip ahead. Then quit. You will eventually lose your 10 chips but hopefully you will be many chips ahead by then. I played 45 times before I busted. Ergo, made $4500.00. Lost $1000.00.

Roulette is a sucker’s game. There is not a good bet on the table. Look it up.
A good bet is a bet with a house edge of 2% or less. Such a creature does not exist on Roulette.
